Our Story



Athar Global Marketing was established with a clear purpose, to bring world-class perfumery to the Indian market with consistency, reliability, and a deep understanding of both product and process. In an industry where fragrance defines perception and performance drives success, our focus has always been on delivering solutions that combine creative excellence with technical precision.
The Beginning



Our journey began in 2001, when Mr. Shahzad Khan partnered with the late Mr. Jean Jacques Ardizio to represent and market Argeville’s fragrance compounds in India. Built on trust, shared values, and a commitment to quality, this collaboration laid the foundation for introducing refined French perfumery to the Indian market in a structured and reliable manner.
A Long Standing Partnership



Argeville, a French fragrance house with over a century of expertise, is known for its strong creative capabilities, advanced formulation processes, and strict quality standards. Through this association, Athar Global Marketing has enabled Indian brands to access French-made fragrance compounds that offer consistency, performance, and technical reliability. Today, this relationship continues in collaboration with the next generation, Mr. Xavier Ardizio, reinforcing a partnership built on continuity and shared vision.
Expanding into Flavours



As the business grew and market requirements evolved, the need to establish a focused presence in flavours became evident. In 2016, this led to the creation of Crescent Aromas, a dedicated entity for flavour solutions. Crescent Aromas manufactures food flavours for multi-facet applications such as confectionery, beverages, bakery, dairy, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals. We source the core from Argeville, France and blend locally in India while maintaining international standards to ensure shorter lead times and competitive pricing.
What We Do Today



We work closely with brands across fine fragrance, personal care, skincare, air care, and oriental perfumery, supporting them in translating concepts into structured fragrance solutions. Our approach is centred around understanding the brief in depth and aligning it with both creative intent and commercial positioning. Through access to Argeville’s expertise, we deliver fragrances that are well-constructed, application-specific, and built for consistent performance. With a wide portfolio of fragrance compounds, local stock availability, and structured technical support, we enable faster development cycles, reliable supply, and long-term consistency.
